On Monday, October 8th on Bloomberg TV, Xergy’s groundbreaking refrigeration, cooling and heat-pump technology was showcased on international television. On the technology show, Bloomberg West, transmitted in US, Asia and Europe, a significant video segment was introduced by Emily Chang, host of Bloomberg West, that was the prize for Xergy’s entry with the not-for-profit organization, Planet-Forward.
Xergy’s technology was selected as the winner of this valuable and professionally produced publicity, because of its potential to significantly meet the vision of the founders of Planet-Forward.
This Opportunity for Xergy was a result of a collaboration between Frank Cesno (presenter of the show, and former CNN anchor) and Fuzz Hogan (planet-forward producer and former CNN producer). They were both classmates at GWU and founded the center for innovative media at GWU. They are strident environmentalists who have stated that they wish to use this show to bring new environmentally beneficial technologies to the world’s attention via the use of media that would otherwise never happen, and so enable global transformation as a result. <br>Bloomberg in turn supports this vision and generously covers all production costs.
Xergy are honored to benefit from this prize and hope that their technology will come to market sooner because of it.
